Labour Complaints Case

Labour complaint is the sense of dissatisfaction voiced by employees against employers regarding their employment issue or employment contract.

How To Make A Complaint

The complaints can be made in various ways as follows:

  1. In writing or fill in the Labour Complaints form and forward it to the nearest Labour Office by post, fax or email.
  2. Present yourself to the nearest Labour Office.
  3. Make a call to the nearest Labour Office.
  4. Via the Public Complaints Management System (SISPAA)
  5. Working for Workers (WFW) application
Parties Who Can Make A Labour Complaint

Complaints are obtained from a variety of sources such as via a complaint by an employee, the public and various parties, including that of agencies.

Complaint Handling Procedure

Information needed to make a complaint
  1. Name, address and telephone number of the party being complained.
  2. Name, address and telephone number of the complainant.
  3. The issues of complaint.
  4. Relevant supporting documents (if any):

    • Letter of offer / Employment contract.
    • Payslip.
    • Other documents related to the complaint.

  1. Labour Ordinance (Sarawak Cap. 76);
      • On the late payment of wages by employer;
      • On the wrongful deduction of wages; and
      • On the unpaid public holiday wages.
  2. Other Complaints;
    • The basic wages lower than Minimum Wages Order 2024.
