Types Of Layoffs
Employers are required to report to the nearest Labour Office before any of the following actions are made by submitting a JTKSWK 19 Labor Retrenchment Form and Appendix to JTKSWK19;
1. Retrenchment Of Worker
Permanent termination is a termination of a contract or service by an employer on an employee because a company is having a financial difficultly or is restructuring the business resulting in a surplus number of workers.
